This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We're hiring! Our team of Employment Rights Lawyers are looking to add to their team based in London, on a hybrid working basis. To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Lawyer, at least 3 years PQE, well versed in managing a full caseload of employment advice and/or representation matters.

 

More about the role

  • You'll be managing your own cases from start to finish, including unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.
  • Manage some more complicated matters (e.g. complex discrimination/trade union detriment / inducement and TUPE) under supervision (as appropriate)
  • Take appropriate daily decisions involving considerable exercise of judgment.
  • Undertake advocacy in the Employment Tribunal (ET), including preliminary hearings and where necessary may be required to carry out advocacy in full hearings up to 2 days.
  • Work as part of a wider team, carrying out work on other team members’ cases as required.

 

A bit about you

The ideal candidate will be able to display the following:

  • A sound theoretical knowledge of the work and an ability to conduct cases from beginning to end.
  • Good knowledge of Employment Tribunal (ET) and Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT), rules on evidence, litigation process and funding – as applicable.
  • Have solid experience usually gained over 3 years (or more) of handling a full caseload.
  • Effective, clear and concise communication skills.
